Stampi is a personal habit and goal tracker. We've designed Stampi with privacy as a core value. This page explains how we handle your data.

The short version Stampi stores nearly all your data — your collections, stamps, notes, and settings — only on your device. We do not require accounts. We do not show ads. We do not use third-party analytics. The only data sent off your device is purchase validation info when you choose to buy a premium add-on.

What Stampi stores on your device When you use Stampi, the following information is stored locally in your app's storage:

Most of this data never leaves your device. The two exceptions are described below.

Backup and restore Stampi offers an optional "backup & restore" feature that lets you download all of your Stampi data as a file. You control this file entirely. We do not see it, store it, or have any access to it.

Premium features Stampi offers optional paid add-ons (themes, palettes, and stamp packs) through Google Play Billing. These purchases are processed by Google, not by us. We do not see your payment information.

To verify which add-ons you own across re-installs, Stampi uses a service called RevenueCat. When you make a purchase, the following is sent to RevenueCat:

RevenueCat uses this only to validate your purchase and restore your entitlements if you reinstall Stampi. It is never used for advertising, profiling, or analytics about your behavior in the app. You can read RevenueCat's privacy policy at https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy

Third parties Stampi uses RevenueCat (described above) only for purchase validation. Beyond that, Stampi does not use any third-party services for analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or any other data collection.
